Did you know that you can save up to 29% on tickets purchased online all year round? Prices change throughout the year - dependent on seasons and specific days – and for 68 per cent of the time the price you pay will always be lower than in 2016.

The Hide Cafe and Restaurant is now open and is able to seat 300 guests. Offering table service and an ever-changing seasonal menu, the new dining space will transport guests to various ecosystems with lots of interactive experiences along the way.

We have a range of animal talks running over the summer period, as well as Amazing Animal shows and daily Animal Encounters. Whichever day you visit, there's always lots on offer! See our current schedule here >

We are renovating lots of our exhibits and play zones throughout the year, including ZooRopia and our much-loved adventure playground, which will house lots of interactive play equipment. Splash play zone has been updated for the summer!

In addition to the on-site upgrades, the warmer months will be bursting with fun events including Friday Twilights where you can explore the Zoo at dusk. See our events here >

Admission prices to Bristol Zoo include a 10% donation. Your donation helps to support international breeding programmes at the Zoo and crucial conservation projects in the wild.

Are you a UK taxpayer? If so, please consider Gift Aiding! Gift Aid allows us to treat the payment you make today as a donation, and reclaim 25p in Gift Aid for every £1 given. Gift Aid is reclaimed from the tax you pay for the current tax year.

Ticket Classifications

  • Adult is classed as aged 19 - 64 years old inclusive.
  • Child is classed as aged 2 - 14 years inclusive. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children aged under 2 years are free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Concessions apply for those aged between 15 - 18 years old inclusive, students (valid student ID must be shown) and senior citizens aged 65 or over.
  • Disabled adults or children can bring one carer with them free of charge when they pay full adult/child price.Evidence of eligibility will be requested, which may include a Blue Badge, statement of special educational needs from LEA or NHS, or a letter from a medical professional on NHS headed paper.
