Sounds of the rainforest, exotic plants and free-flying birds from south-East Asia create a truly immersive experience in the Forest of Birds.

Many of our bird species are near threatened or vulnerable in the wild, such as the bleeding heart doves and Victoria crowned pigeons.

Our vibrant flock of lorikeets can be found in a free-flight aviary next to the Forest of Birds. Lorikeets are naturally inquisitive, gregarious little birds, which may fly rapidly past your head as they busily forage and socialise within their large naturalistic aviary.
