Bristol Zoo Gardens is getting ready for an extra special Easter with a host of great activities for families.
Children can go on a fun Egg Discovery Trail around the Zoo to find out which animals lay which eggs.
Each youngster will be given a trail card and sheet of stickers and then they can go on a mini-voyage of discovery taking them to all four corners of the 181-year-old Zoo.
Along the way they will find out some fun facts about animals and discover which eggs they lay.
There is also a special game of I Spy in which people will have to identify which of the hundreds of animals in the Zoo is the quickest.
Not only that but there is another game called Guess Who? in which big close-up pictures of animals’ eyes will appear all round the Zoo.
Visitors can work out which eye belongs to which animal. There will also be plenty to do in the Activity Centre at the heart of the Zoo with the chance for children to spend time colouring and making Easter arts and crafts and get their face painted.
Paul Pritchard, marketing and development manager at Bristol Zoo, said: “Everything this Easter is aimed at getting the whole family involved, from the Easter Egg Trail to I Spy and Guess Who? We are sure everyone will have a lot of fun and that their Easter visit to the Zoo will be one they will remember with a smile.”
Families can also save money when tickets are booked online. For every adult ticket bought a child can come into the Zoo free of charge.
Please Note: Child Goes Free offer strictly permits only one child free with each paying adult. Additional child tickets will need to be purchased separately. Craft activities and face painting will incur an additional small charge.
