We're thrilled to announce that Jon Richardson and Adam Hills will be headlining Giggle for Gorillas.
Bristol Zoo has just announced the line-up for its stand-up comedy event Giggle for Gorillas, which is due to return for a second time this summer.
Jon Richardson, famed for his regular appearances on ‘8 out of 10 cats’ will take to the stage alongside Australian comedian Adam Hills of ‘The Last Leg’, witty and observant comic Sally-Anne Hayward and rising star George Rigden.
The Zoo’s Director of Commercial Operations, Wendy Walton said: “We are delighted to announce this impressive line-up of great comics, who will all be generously donating their time to perform in aid of gorilla conservation on what is set to be a fantastic night of comedy.”
Mark Olver returns to compère the evening and will be introducing the host of well-known comedy stars to the Zoo’s stage.
Giggle for Gorillas will take place on Sunday 2nd August 2015 in the centre of the Zoo, undercover in a large marquee.
Tickets are now on sale via the Zoo’s website: http://www.bristolzoo.org.uk/whats-on.
All money raised from this event will be spent supporting Bristol Zoological Society’s charitable objectives, in aid of gorilla conservation.
Bristol Zoo Gardens is a conservation and education charity and relies on the generous support of the public not only to fund its important work in the zoo, but also its vital conservation and research projects spanning five continents.
