Bristol Zoological Society, the conservation and education charity that runs and operates Bristol Zoo Gardens and Wild Place Project and conservation projects across the world, is recruiting a Marketing Officer.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Society, with a new strategy in place to create a world-class Bristol Zoo with conservation and sustainability at its hear.
You will be supporting the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing & Communications in achieving the charity’s corporate, commercial, brand and charitable objectives.
The role will help to realise our vision of saving wildlife together, and you will be involved in supporting our transformation programme – from the celebration of Bristol Zoo Gardens’ last summer before the last day it is open to the public on 3 September 2022, to driving visitor numbers at Wild Place Project and excitement as plans progress.
The successful candidate will be meeting commercial objectives – from visitor footfall and education bookings to membership – as well as copywriting, media planning and buying, and will have good attention to detail. They will be working closely with colleagues within the marketing and communications team and across the organisation on exciting branding and content projects.
An understanding of conservation is desirable, however we believe your passion will become as great as ours on your journey with us.
