Bristol Zoological Society has temporarily closed Bristol Zoo Gardens as a response to the continuing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Please read our latest statement here.

As well as being a leading visitor attraction, with over 450 species of animals, in a stunning garden setting, we’re also an award-winning conservation and education charity. This means we’re in a unique position to teach people about biodiversity, conservation and the natural world, making us an ideal destination for an educational school trip!

We offer education sessions to:

  • All ages from early years to degree level
  •  All ability groups including  those with special and/or additional needs
  •  Childrens ‘ clubs
  • Foreign language groups
  • Home educating families

We aim to bring learning to life and strive to offer a unique learning experience. Our sessions take place in themed classrooms in the Conservation Education Centre; and feature real live animals. They can be linked to the National Curriculum, or specific syllabi as required.

Let us take your students on an interactive adventure…
