This summer, go on an amazing adventure at Bristol Zoo Project!

From 19 July, enjoy the brand-new Andy’s Adventures: Explorer Trail. Through games and activities, you can learn the skills you need to become an explorer like Andy!

Discover how to track animals, find Andy’s backpack, gizmo and hat in his Explorers Cabin, learn how to identify animals through investigating their poo, pretend to shrink down like Andy and to go back in time with the museum clock!

Use your new skills to have fun at Explorers Basecamp, our amazing three-storey play area designed for all ages and abilities!

Explore the zoo and meet incredible animals from around the world, from cheetahs, zebras and giraffes to bears and wolves living in ancient woodland at Bear Wood.

What’s on this summer?

Andy’s Adventures: Explorer Trail opens Saturday 19 July.

FREE crafts – held in our Bénoué schoolhouse, including make your own gizmo!

FREE animal talks – learn more about our incredible red pandas, lemurs, giraffes, bears, wolves and lynxes in our fun and fact-filled animal talks. Check out the welcome board for times.

Meet amazing animals

Watch bears and wolves interact in Bear Wood, marvel at our majestic gelada baboons and fall in love with our adorable red panda pair.

Play all day

Experience our new multi-level adventure play for all ages, needs, and abilities. Explorers Basecamp is a three-storey play tower with slides, rope jungles, climbing walls, and more. Let the kids discover and play all day. No time limits!

Tasty treats

Feeling hungry after exploring? Tuck into a freshly stone-baked pizza at Base Camp Pizzeria, or head to Courtyard Cafe for a range of freshly made sandwiches, soup, pastries, cakes and snacks. Gluten-free and vegan options are available.
