Egg bingo

As you explore the zoo, look out for the patterned Easter egg boards. Mark the ones you find on the egg bingo grid on the back of your map and see who’s the first to call bingo!

Pssst, don’t worry – everyone who joins in can claim a sweet treat, not just bingo winners.

Egg activity boards

Head to the interactive activity boards to solve puzzles and learn eggs-traordinary facts. Peer into the pond to see how many eggs are hidden among the plants, match the missing bird eggs to the right nests and learn what creature lays their eggs in a golden cocoon!

Time with an eggs-pert

Every day from 10.30am we’ll have an eggs-pert on hand to show you amazing real eggs, help you get stuck into egg-related games or answer any burning questions you might have.

Check the welcome board when you arrive to find out the location of the day’s session. Adults and kids of all ages welcome!

Golden Egg Hunt

Every day of the Easter holidays (5 – 27 April), we'll be hiding a golden egg somewhere in the zoo. The egg will appear every day at a different time and place – will you be the lucky one to find it first?

The golden egg will be hidden in public areas only – no need to explore off the beaten track to find it. Good luck, eggsplorers!

Find the golden egg and you could win an amazing prize, ranging from a zoo membership to a giraffe experience!* Once you spot the golden egg, take it to Visitor Information to enter the lucky dip and claim your prize.
