Fighting Extinction appeal

Donate to our appeal and help Save Wildlife Together.

Help us protect animals and habitats under threat of extinction.

Did you know at Bristol Zoo Project, 78 percent of the animals we care for are both threatened, and part of targeted conservation programmes? In the wild, these animals and their habitats are under the threat of extinction.

As a conservation charity, we work in nine countries, across four continents, to conserve species and protect habitats. Our team are doing everything they can to help secure a sustainable future for wildlife, but we can’t do it alone.

How can you help?

You can join our fight to save wildlife and habitats under threat by supporting our Fighting Extinction Appeal.

Our appeal aims to raise the vital funds we need to support our teams who are working to save wildlife and their habitats, both here in the UK and around the world.

From breeding threatened red panda to funding local rangers who are protecting Critically Endangered Kordofan giraffes in Cameroon.

As a charity, we rely on donations to help us bring threatened species back from the brink of extinction, through conservation and education projects, and from working alongside local communities.

Your donation can have a big impact.

£5 could help train local guides to collect data on Madagascar’s threatened lemur species, just like Haja and Olanna the blue-eyed black lemur pair at Bristol Zoo Project. This work is crucial to help save these amazing animals from extinction.

£10 could plant a tree in Madagascar or the UK, helping to connect and rebuild vital damaged habitats. Providing safe spaces and green corridors for critically endangered animals.

£25 could provide one of our Endangered adult lowland gorillas with fruit and veg for just one day. Providing the best care for the animals at Bristol Zoo Project is critical for their well-being, from their diet to habitats and engagement activities.

Donations to this appeal are not restricted to conservation of specific species, so you can be sure your donation is going where it is most needed, ensuring the best possible outcome for the wildlife we care for in the UK and around the world.

Thank you for everything you do for the animals you love – every £1 donated really does make a difference.

If you would like to know more or find out how can you further support this appeal, please do not hesitate to get in touch at supporters@bzsociety.org.uk, we would love to hear from you.
