3 Drop into animal talks and feeds

Join one of our interactive talks or feeds to discover more about our amazing animals. Watch our adorable meerkats or lemurs get their lunch, or learn surprising facts about ostriches, giraffes, bears and gelada baboons!

4 Go wild in our play areas

Explore the barefoot trail, take on the balance beams, explore the giant bird’s nest, and run, climb and slide on the climbing frames in the Fun Fort.

5 Explore the butterfly maze

Wind your way around the beautiful butterfly maze, spotting butterflies on the wildflowers surrounding it. Discover amazing facts about butterflies as you solve the maze!

6 Spot our new deer

Back in June we welcomed two new Philippine spotted deer to the zoo. These endangered deer are endemic to the Central Philippines where they’re threatened by habitat loss and illegal hunting. We’re hoping our new deer will go on to have young! Find the deer in the old wolf wood area, near Tower Meadow.

7 See amazing street art

Discover 8 giant street art murals on Tower Meadow, created earlier this year in partnership with Upfest. The colourful murals were painted by local street artists including Aspire, Bex Glover, Cheo, Felix Braun, The Hass, Sian Storey, Silent Hobo and Sophie Long. The artworks tell the story of our conservation work around the world and look to the exciting future of Bristol Zoo Project.

8 Tuck into tasty pizza

Enjoy stone-baked pizza in the basecamp pizzeria, overlooking the cheetah habitat. Freshly baked and made from locally-sourced ingredients, pizza is a great treat for everyone. Vegan and gluten free options available.

9 Take a Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith is an outdoor climbing adventure experience set within the grounds of Bristol Zoo Project. Climb, jump and swoop your way around the high ropes course which is fantastic fun for all the family. Book online or buy tickets on the day – additional cost to zoo entry and 10% off for our members.

Bristol Zoo Project is part of Bristol Zoological Society, a conservation and education charity. Every visit supports our conservation work in the UK and around the world.
