Maintenance Supervisor

Contract hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £24,150 per annum

Bristol Zoological Society is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to work full time at Wild Place Project. This is an exciting opportunity to join the maintenance team and help to maintain and grow our exciting new site.

We are seeking a self-motivated, positive person with a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to motivate and inspire. A good working knowledge of maintenance and construction is essential, along with practical experience in the construction industry. A solid understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and general building work is essential. Previous supervisory experience is desirable.

Applicants must have a friendly, professional manner with a passion for working in an outdoor environment, whatever the weather! The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a small maintenance team at The Wild Place Project, along with future responsibilities at Bristol Zoo Gardens after its closure. The Maintenance Supervisor must be reliable, with good time management and an ability to plan, prioritise and execute tasks.
